The Problem

Bad Photos Make Good Products Look Cheap.

Online, the photo is the product until someone buys it. We cover what that means for local shops in our guide to Las Vegas retail and ecommerce marketing. These are the photo problems that cost sales most often.

01

Phone photos under kitchen lights

Yellow color, cluttered backgrounds and soft focus make a quality product look like a garage sale find.

02

Every photo looks different

Different backgrounds, angles and lighting across a catalog make a store look thrown together and harder to shop.

03

Huge files that slow the site

Beautiful photos uploaded straight from a camera can weigh several megabytes each and make a page crawl on a phone.

04

Product only, no context

A plain shot shows what it is. A lifestyle shot shows why someone wants it, and most stores only have the first.

05

A menu nobody can picture

Restaurants describe a dish in words when one honest, appetizing photo would sell it faster.

Types of Shots

Different Shots Do Different Jobs.

A good shot list mixes these so your site, ads and feed all have what they need. We plan the mix with you before the shoot.

Catalog shots

The product alone, on a clean background, from consistent angles. These do the work on product pages and in comparisons.

Detail shots

Close-ups of texture, materials, labels and finishes, answering the questions a shopper would ask holding it in a store.

Lifestyle shots

The product in a real setting, in use, at a scale people can picture. These carry ads, homepages and social posts.

Menu and venue shots

Signature dishes, drinks and the room itself, for menus, delivery listings, your Google Business Profile and social.

Proof

No Borrowed Portfolio. Images That Load Fast.

We do not publish a photography portfolio on this site, and we will not show someone else's photos as ours. Ask for relevant samples on your consultation. What we can show is the part most photographers skip: getting images onto a site so they look sharp and still load fast on a phone.

Questions

Product Photography FAQ

How much does product photography cost?

It is quoted per shoot after a free consultation. The price depends on how many products or dishes, how many setups and styles, whether we shoot on location, and how many finished images you need. You get the shot list and price in writing before anything is scheduled.

Who takes the photos?

Our local Las Vegas production partner does the photography. Our team plans the shot list with you, manages the shoot, and handles editing and web-ready delivery, so you work with one team throughout.

Do you photograph food and restaurant menus?

Yes. Menu, food and drink photography is part of the service, styled to look like what actually arrives at the table, and delivered sized for your menu, website, delivery listings and social accounts.

Will the photos slow down my website?

Not if they are delivered properly. We size and compress every web image for where it will run. On our own site, converting 14 hero images to WebP cut them from 3.2 MB to 0.93 MB and dropped mobile load time on a blog post from 6.0 seconds to 2.4.

Do I own the photos?

Yes. On full payment you own the final approved deliverables. We keep the right to reference the work in our portfolio unless we agree otherwise.

Can I see examples first?

We do not publish a photography portfolio on the site. Ask on your consultation and we will share samples relevant to what you sell.

The Fine Print

Photography is performed by our local Las Vegas production partner under our direction. Shoot dates depend on availability and location access.

Retouching keeps products true to what customers receive. We do not alter a product in ways that would misrepresent it.

On full payment you own the final approved deliverables. The shot list and number of final images are set in your written scope; extra work is quoted before it starts.
